Lot #317 - This is a full custom VW Rabbit MKI and has undergone a full restoration that has no expense spared on it to get it to the show condition that you see it in now. The car has been shown at the SEMA show three times and has been featured in many magazines, both in the states and in Europe. Let's start with the exterior of the car, it was stripped to bare all metal and all body panels are laser straight with no rust on the car. Painted with Audi anthracite metallic, the paint is deep and clean. Carbon fiber center hood and rear hatch, carbon fiber European bumper in front, carbon fiber gas filler, shaved marker lights, emblems and full carbon fiber flares. Custom front European grille with Stalk single round headlights. All new rubber seals. The door jambs and under the hood have been air brushed with skulls in PPG Rainbow Pearl. The car sits on 16" BBS 3-piece RS wheels painted black with polished outers and new tires fill the wheel wells very nice. The car also has air ride suspension. There are show neon lights on the bottom of the car. Interior is a custom fiberglass dash wrapped in gray suede with AC gauges. A 10.5" screen in the passenger side, two screens on the sun visors and two more in the rear. There are over 15 speakers in the car including three 12" subs in the back with custom cover. A DVD player and Sony head unit are in the custom center console and the sound system has won many awards. Autometer roll bar, Recaro seats with harness, new carpet and black headliner. The motor is a European 2.0L cross flow with ported and polished heads. 150 shot of NOS and the 5-speed transmission shifts smooth and has a short shifter with upgraded dual disc Spax clutch.
