Lot #1324.4 - This factory black 1963 Plymouth Sport Fury Max Wedge 3-speed car was campaigned in the Super Stock wars of the mid-sixties. This is an original LC 425/415hp 3-speed Plymouth that sold new at Fender & Tubs in Lubbock, TX. It dominated not only in local events but also participated in some nationally sanctioned events. Fender & Tubs campaigned a total of three Max Wedge black Plymouths. This car has never been tubbed or caged, so it retains all its original western rust-free body panels. This car was upgraded to a 4-speed transmission in 1964 for competition purposes and still remains upgraded today.
