Description
Lot #1570 - General Motors asked Bonspeed to create a concept with a radical edge for the 2003 International Auto Salon. The "Speed Cult" coupe was featured on the GM stand. In addition to its one-off body components the interior showcases exotic black pearl leather with inset carbon fiber embossed leather and red accent stitching covering the Recaro seats. The interior also has a unique "Speed Cult" gauge cluster and a Diamond Audio 1200-watt sound system. Other components include an Air Ride Technologies fully adjustable suspension, Borla dual stainless exhaust, custom roll bar and high voltage DuPont Road-Stripe Yellow paint. Specially fashioned Bonspeed forged alloy wheels are wrapped around Baer disc brakes. There is only 613 original miles and unlike many concepts, this one is sold with title. The "Speed Cult" coupe is the collaboration of a Rock Star, a Hot Rod visionary and General Motors. A custom Bonspeed "Speed Cult" bass guitar autographed by Van Halen member and Bonspeed partner Michael Anthony is sold with the car.
