Lot #691.2 - Gone in 1959 were the brushed chrome excrescences that disfigured the lines of the 1958 Oldsmobiles, replaced by rocket taillights that continued to characterize the marque's identity. A wraparound windshield, thin pillars and gracefully tapered rear window on the Scenicoupe hardtops complimented the top of the 98 coupe's 394/315hp V8 power and 3-speed Jet-away Hydramatic transmission. Finished in Polaris White over pale Frost Blue with matching leather upholstery, with cloth inserts and blue carpets. It has top of the line equipment including power windows, 6-way power front seats, power steering, power brakes, Wonder Bar radio with rear speaker, power antenna and dual range heater. Chrome wire wheels with white wall tires accent the exterior.
