Description
Lot #739.1 - Complete frame-off restoration with only 2,486 miles since completed. The PPG basecoat/clearcoat two-tone paint of Flaming Yellow and Glacier White looks great. The exceptional chrome and stainless add subtle touches to the original lines of the classic '55. It features all new glass and seals, all new cloth interior, all body mounts replaced, 2" front drop spindles with power disc brakes, a small block 350cid Chevy that has been bored and a polished under-the-hood B&M 144 Supercharger. All of this is matched up to a Turbo 350 with a 3,000 stall converter. The rear end is a 12-bolt with Richmond 3.72 gears, Dutchman axles, lock right positive locking differential and all aluminum support differential cover. The rear springs have been relocated and the '55 has been mini-tubbed to fit the BFGoodrich drag radials.
