Lot #1261.1 - This car has been tastefully Street-rodded yet still holds true to its original timeless look. This all-steel car was treated to a full no-expense-spared body-off restoration. The car has a new chassis with an independent Mustang II front end and a multi-leaf rear suspension. The engine is a new crate 302 Ford Roush motor and is backed by an AOD automatic overdrive transmission. The rear axle is a 9" Ford posi-traction with a 3.50 gear ratio. The car has also been equipped with power steering, power disc brakes with emergency brake, air conditioning and a black cloth top. The interior has been finished in Oxblood leather and the original dash houses a set of new classic instruments. The fit and finish on this car is absolutely superb and attention to detail is highly interior.
