Description
Lot #49 - Fully restored panel. Great for advertising. Everyone admires a carefully, accurately restored light truck and this 1949 Chevy 3100 is about as good as it gets. First, it is a rare and unusual model, the model GP/3100 series panel delivery. Second, it is beautifully and thoroughly done with nothing overlooked. The color combination is both attractive and unusual with dark blue below the beltline and light blue above, accented with a white coachline. The interior is upholstered in brown vinyl like most Chevy trucks of this age but the rear compartment floor is beautifully done with a varnished wood floor. It is very nicely and completely equipped with chrome front fender spears, grille, bumpers and window frames and has hubcaps, wide white wall tires, a factory radio and a heater/defroster. The paint, interior, chassis and engine have been restored, maintained and detailed to standards only rarely seen on light duty trucks. The unusual body style has great potential for advertising a business, farm or ranch and signage on it avoids zoning restrictions on permanent signs. It is unusual, attractive and will make friends wherever it appears.
