Description
Lot #1250.2 - Herb Adams was a Pontiac engineer that had extreme involvement in the Trans Am Super Duty engine packages. He also raced a host of Trans Ams and Camaros in SCCA events. After leaving Pontiac in 1973 Herb continued creating F-body chassis upgrades to forward his own racing efforts. This subject Camaro enjoys the full distinction of being one of very few Camaros appointed with Herb Adams' Stage II Cheverra components. The level of chassis preparation and use of special one-off components make it a virtual platform for the promotion of special suspension components developed by Herb Adams/VSE (very special equipment). Pontiac Fire-Ams and Cheverras of Herb Adams VSE were pioneer tuner cars that paved the way for a very special automotive segment that followed. They were purpose built machines born out of developmental projects for Pontiac's WS6 suspension program that Herb developed. From the Keith Henderson Collection.
