Description
Lot #1245.1 - 1970 Mustang Boss 302 concours trailered gold. Restored by Kevin's Klassic Cars. Matching numbers restored back to original specs and workmanship above factory quality. Started by taking the car completely apart, the car was then media blasted to remove all paint, undercoating and seam sealer. Then every panel on the car was worked back to better than new and very straight. The gaps on all the doors, fenders, trunk lid and hood are near perfect and much better than they came from the factory. Not only was the restoration done to the exterior of the car but also the bottom of the car, the interior floor and the engine compartment. Top of the line Standox base coat clear coat was used. The parts were restored back to factory specs. All original markings were put on the car and done correctly. Every part on the car is date code correct and all have the correct numbers on them. All the parts are painted the right color and the right sheen just like they came from the factory. The engine and transmission were gone through then ran on a dyno to make sure they performed to top specs when they were installed. All new correct dated glass and all stainless is polished and shines like new. Everything was taken apart and rebuilt including the wiring in the dash. The dash bezels were rechromed and all instrument gauges were recalibrated and checked out. This is a no excuse Boss 302 that was restored by a shop that specializes in these cars.
