Description
Lot #400 - This particular Corvette was built in late 1970 to early 1971 with parts ordered directly from Motion Performance. Over 700 hours went into the nut and bolt body-on restoration. All mechanical parts were restored or replaced with OEM or equivalent replacement parts. The motor is a 1970 date coded cast #512 block. It is fitted with steel LS7 crank and rods with forged pistons for durability. The valvetrain is full mechanical roller topped with roller rockers. Muncie 4-speed transmission mates to the original 3.36 rear gears. All brakes are new, all U-joints have been replaced as well as bushings. The original code Cortez Silver was applied and polished to a mirror finish, with the correct Motion stripes. The interior has been replaced and detailed using the correct grain black leather interior that the trim tag calls for.
