Lot #335 - A spectacular 1970 Chevelle SS that has gone through a frame-off rotisserie restoration. The exterior was completely stripped to bare metal to begin an extensive restoration process. The body was massaged to perfection and then painted in the original classic white color with black SS stripes. New bumpers, grill, lights and lenses, wheel well moldings, emblems, door handles, wipers, mirrors, SS wheels and Goodyear Polyglas tires. All glass is in excellent condition. Everything was restored period correct. The interior is the correct red vinyl and everything is new including a new headliner, door panels, red carpet, front and rear seat covers, sun visors, window cranks, dash, gauges, all knobs, radio, seat belts, floor mats, pedals and more. Even under the dash was restored. Equipped with power steering, power disc brakes and AM radio. The engine compartment is detailed and factory correct. It is home to the original numbers matching 396cid engine providing 350hp with all of the factory markings and tags. The engine pad retains the original upside down stamping and VIN. The turbo 400 transmission shifts excellent and retains the original VIN stamping. The rear differential is the GM 12-bolt with 3.31 gears. The front and rear F-41 suspension have been completely restored featuring spiral shocks with all paint dabs and tags. All new brakes with brake lines and a new fuel tank with fuel lines have been installed. The documentation consists of the Protect-O-Plate, copy of original title, original license plate, owner's manual, transit card and original Build Sheet.
