Lot #358 - A beautiful 1968 Chevrolet Resto Mod Camaro that has gone through a complete frame-off restoration. Stunning as it looks this Camaro can be driven anywhere you choose to go. During the restoration the body was completely gone through installing new fenders, doors, quarters, trunk lid and a cowl hood. The body was then shot in a 2 stage Sequoia Green Metallic PPG paint. The SS stripe was added in white and the tail pan was painted black to signify a big block. Once the paint was wet sanded and buffed it turned out incredible. A front and rear spoiler were added with SS badging and all new glass. All of the chrome, trim and taillight bezels are all in excellent condition. The exterior is completed with the addition of a set of Billet Specialties Stiletto wheels wrapped in performance rubber. 18's on the front and 20's on the rear. The black standard interior is all new at the time of the restoration. Everything from the headliner to the carpet has been restored or replaced. This Camaro has a complete new power steering system from the steering box to the new tilt steering column. The interior features an AM radio, 4-speed transmission, console and gauges, tic-toc-tach and replacement rosewood wheel. Under the hood is a 396cid engine bored .030 over. This engine was completely rebuilt during the restoration with new 9.5:1 pistons to run on pump gas. The cylinder heads were rebuilt and a 520 lift competition hydraulic cam was added with 1.7 rocker arms. The intake is an Edelbrock performer with a 700CFM Holley carburetor. During the restoration this Camaro had the entire front and rear suspension rebuilt or replaced. This Camaro provides performance, handling and looks.
