Powering the Mark VIII was an all-new, all-aluminum 4.6 L DOHC 32-valve V8 which produced 280 hp and 285lb/ft of torque. The 4 speed overdrive automatic and 3.07:1 rear axle ratio produced 0-60 times in the 6.9 second range. Additional features include a 140-mph speedo, an electronic message center, automatic climate control, auto headlights, cruise control, leather six-way power seats, power door locks, heated power mirrors, optional moon roof and a 10-disc CD changer.
