The CAV GT is regarded as one of the closest to resemble the original GT40's both mechanically and cosmetically. Monocoque chassis is fully tig welded stainless steel. It features an integral roll over bar and side impact protection bars. Powered by a 550hp, 500 ft/lb torque stroked 427 Windsor engine topped with 4 Weber IDA's and backed by the best transmission in the business, a RBT ZF 5-speed. Rolls on 6-pin BRM knock-offs and Goodyear Blue Streak racing tires. Show quality Daytona Blue paint. Cockpit fitted with leather seats, VDO gauges and the comfort of air conditioning.
