Description
Lot #38.2 - A ground-up restoration was done on this rust-free car. Numerous upgrades were added to benefit comfort, convenience, appearance, safety and performance. A complete color change was done while the car was disassembled, from Persian White to Rosewood. All chrome and stainless was either replated or polished and carefully reinstalled. Engine size was increased, bored out to 383cid. Compression was set a 9:1 allowing 87 octane. Edelbrock manifold and carburetor with a Spitfire ignition were installed. 727 automatic push-button transmission was rebuilt and a NOS converter installed. New wiring harness was made and installed. A complete 4-wheel disc brake conversion along with a new dual master cylinder and booster increased the brake performance of the car. Kelsey Hayes wire wheels with premium Voque tires were added. A tilt column and refurbished wheel, along with a 6-way power was installed. A new windshield and all new rubber, plus top and rear window were replaced.
