Finished using an epoxy primer throughout, ten coats of blue metallic base coat with custom purple urethane ghost flames and six additional coats of high gloss clear. Hand sanded and then polished to a breathtaking finish in Royal Blue. Not to be outmatched by the outside, the interior is just as amazing. It features a full array of Pro Comp Autometer gauges, custom grey and blue leather seats and custom blue rugs with removable floor mats. There's also a tilt steering column, billet steering wheel and horn, Hurst quicksilver shifter, Vintage Air with rear condenser and fan. Note, there is also remote releases for the trunk and the hood, racing harnesses to keep you in place and custom door panels embossed with the famous Willys "W". Step on the accelerator for a great feeling as the world rushes by you. Powering this car is a Chevy 502 stroked to 604cid. Custom Lunati stroker crank, 8:1 pistons, comp cam, needle bearing rockers and girdle, MEZ billet water pump, 671 B&M Megablower, twin 750cfm carburetors and underdriven for unbelievable power. An Accel distributor and control box, custom Griffin aluminum radiator with twin electric fans and a Centrec fan control system complete the engine build. Power races through a custom HD built Turbo 400 automatic transmission. This Willys also features an electric inline fuel pump and filter assembly, chrome 120 amp alternator, rear mounted HD battery, gear reduction starter, custom built ceramic coated headers with stainless steel 3" exhaust system. All the proceeds are going to support the Make-a-Wish Organization.
