Lot #658.2 - Started as a 1969 "S" Code big block car. The rust-free body was placed on a rotisserie where it was bead blasted and full frame installed. A custom roll bar was installed extending to the front and rear of the car. The car was painted with PPG black paint. All chrome, weather stripping, moldings, etc. are new. The scoop is a BOSS 429 style increased by 1" to allow for the Kaase intake height. New Painless wiring throughout. The firewall was smoothed and new inner fenders were created to allow the installation of this massive engine. Heidts front suspension with power steering. Heidts rear 4-link suspension. Heidts stiffening bar with built-in drive shaft loops. BOSS 557 engine built by Bob Lathrop of Performance Unlimited. We started with a 460 block bored and stroked, forged crank, rods and pistons. A Comp Cams solid roller was used with roller cam bearings. On top is the first set of Jon Kaase Boss cylinder heads offered to the general public. These were port matched by Bob with Kaase's new intake, valve covers and wires. Custom made headers. The custom exhaust has been ceramic chromed front to back and includes sliding exhaust cut outs for the amount of sound you desire. Idles smoothly and runs cool with the Be Cool 1000hp radiator. TKO 5-speed from the driven man with hydraulic clutch. New dash, Year One insert with Autometer gauges. Fold down rear seat. Power windows.
