Description
Lot #688.1 - A Ford "shoe box" does not get any cooler than this car. This 1950 Ford 2 door sedan exemplifies the 50's Hot Rod look. The laser-straight body is covered with beautiful black paint that is highlighted by chrome and stainless trim. The cool stance is achieved by aftermarket front suspension with dropped spindles and lowered springs in the back. This combination also gives the car a very comfortable and drivable ride. The wide whites mounted on steel wheels with spider centers give the ride a classic Hot Rod look. The 50's styling is carried over into the brilliant red interior. This amazing interior is highlighted by a tilt column with 1940 Ford style steering wheel, custom stereo and air conditioning. The car is motivated by a highly detailed 350cid Chevy with a Turbo 350 transmission. Modern features such as power steering, disc brakes, power brakes and 12-volt electrical system make the car both dependable and easy to drive. Words and pictures can not possibly do this car justice. This Goodguy Award winner has to be admired up close to really appreciate the quality and finish of this amazing car. Current owner will retain award.
