Description
Lot #754.1 - With 29 actual miles this incredible 1957 Plymouth Savoy is without a doubt one of the finest 100% original and lowest mileage of its kind in existence. This vehicle was one of 14 cars put in storage by Bob Hooper, a Plainview Texas Dodge-Plymouth dealer, back in the 1950's. In 1976, Thomas Barrett, co-founder of Barrett-Jackson auction purchased all 14 cars from Bob Hooper's estate. Over the next several years, all of the collection was sold one by one. This 1957 Savoy ended up in the hands of collector Richard Pomeroy of Youngstown, OH in 1981 still untitled on factory MSO. This vehicle was a trailered show car for several years and put away after his death. The original paint, interior and chrome are perfectly preserved. The car is equipped with a 301 V8 and push-button automatic transmission. A once in a lifetime opportunity.
