Lot #755 - You are viewing a restored 1960 Impala convertible. The body on this Impala was removed from its frame to begin the restoration process. The body was massaged and block sanded before it was painted in the popular Roman Red factory color. Once the body and frame were reunited all of the chrome and trim were installed along with a new white convertible top. A set of Billet Specialties wheels with performance tires were installed on all 4 corners. 20" were placed on the rear with 18" up front. This completed the exterior of an incredible looking rag top. The red and white interior was also restored with all new upholstery. This interior is equipped with power steering, power brakes and a new white top. Under the hood is a detailed engine compartment that is home to a 348cid big block Chevrolet complete with a Tri-Power setup. The transmission is an automatic while the rear remains original. This is a stunning Impala convertible with the top up or down.
