Lot #725.1 - This 1965 Corvette Resto-Rod was just completed in 2009. With all the great looks of the 1965 Corvette and the modern performance, comfort and safety of the later Corvettes. The chassis has been modified to the VBP Performance Plus suspension package conversion for better handling and ride, which includes 8 point adjustable front and rear monosprings, front and rear anti-sway bars, lightweight lower and upper control arms and Bilstein sport shocks. A freshly overhauled LT-1 engine teamed with a Corvette 6-speed gear box make it a very fast, reliable and fun car to drive. Brakes were changed to 4-wheel power disc for great stopping performance. Air conditioning was added for comfort and Dakota digital gages replace the older style in the panel. Seat belts and shoulder harnesses in an updated interior add to the safety of this beautiful car. The entertainment system provides AM/FM/iPod docking station. Additional features include wood tilt steering wheel, power steering, power windows, center console, center intake header and much more.
