It is optioned with a rare L78, Muncie 4-speed transmission, Z27 Super Sport package plus the Z22 Rally Sport package, sport striping, HD suspension, power disc brakes, ZL2 ducted hood, 12-bolt 3.73 posi-traction, tilt steering wheel, console with gauges, tinted glass, spoilers, AM/FM radio and much more. What makes this car special is the story of how it got here today. About 5 years ago the car was involved in a minor accident that resulted in $4,00 in damages. Nationwide insurance assigned an inexperienced adjuster to review and handle the claim. Using general information about all 1969 vehicles, not collector cars, the adjuster determined that the claim was close to the actual value of the vehicle and decided to pay the owner salvage value. The owner accepted the settlement and started to restore the car back to its original condition. The car was then sold with a salvage title and eventually made its way into the hands of a collector in North Carolina that realized how rare the car actually was. The car then went through a year long nut and bolt restoration.
