Lot #1516 - Fully restored and modified street and strip car rebuilt inside and out. Key turner car ready to go as is. Second owner car, had since 1990. $25,000 in receipts to create this custom car which is one-of-a-kind. Engine built 383 stroker, all forged internals, Dart II heads ported and polished with roller tips, installed 10.5:1 compression ratio, Holley 750cc double pump carburetor. Cam has 488/512 lift at 50 thousandths. Manifold is jet hotted underneath and around and wooden spacers under carburetor to keep fuel cold. Electric fan keeps everything cool, even during hot days. Electronic fuel pump supplies gas to engine with excess gas going back to tank. Exhaust dual hooker headers, collectors on ends, h-pipe in middle, plates that come off for open exhaust, all jet hotted inside and out. Ceramic coating makes a big difference bringing down heat. Transmission is TH700R4 built with Art Carr racing kit. Overdrive gear allows car to be at 3000rpm at 80mph. Has ratchet shifter that can be manually shifted for competitive moments. Line lock also installed to handle with push button activation. Axle-Strange hardened steel axles installed new with Auburn locker, 3.73 gear ratio in axle. Paint job done professionally in 2001. Body is jet black, trunk has factory speckled paint and engine compartment flat black. Door jams done as well. Louvers in back window are done in jet black. Interior is reupholstered with vinyl all around, new carpet, dash piece, new center console. Everything in interior looks great. All new leaf springs in back, front springs put in new, IAS shocks, handles very well for an older car of this era. Alpine radio with tape player, amplifier and 6-CD shuttle. Car has 3,500 miles since rebuild.
