Description
Lot #626 - Featured in the September 2008 issue of "Cars and Parts: 100th Anniversary of GM" issue. An amazingly preserved car in original condition throughout with 87,000 miles and equipped with its original 273cid engine. It was originally owned by an 87-year old gentleman who purchased the car new from Howard Tayler Dodge of San Diego 43-years ago in 1966. When asked how he kept the car in this showroom condition, he had this to say "I never drove it to work to be left sitting outside all day. I never, ever parked in a shopping center parking lot for possible exposure to other cars attacking it and last but not least I never let my wife drive it." This fine gentleman cared for this Dodge and it shows in the amazingly preserved original condition throughout. It is well documented. A prime example of rare styling that is still highly desirable to this day.
