Description
Lot #108 - A great example of a classic Hot Rod, this freshly completed frame-off restoration is highlighted by the exceptional black paint. The entirely steel body retains its stock appearance with only subtle modifications which include front roll pan, tilt hood, and custom grille. The interior features a custom painted dash, billet dash inset with custom gauges, and Billet Specialties steering wheel. The seat and door panels were recovered with original style tan tweed. New carpet, new handles, and a custom stereo complete the stylish yet functional interior. The drivetrain consists of a crate 350cid Chevrolet engine, a 700R transmission and GM rear end. A 1974 Nova front end with disc brakes gives the truck an amazing ride and a low Hot Rod stance. Other features include power steering, tilt wheel, power brakes, custom exhaust, and a new wood bed floor. The truck is absolutely one of the best driving Hot Rods you will find. It comfortably travels long distances on the highway at 70+ mph and will average close to 20 miles per gallon. The classic styling and the drivability make this truck an absolute dream to own and cruise in.
