It still retains its original sheet metal, chrome and stainless trim, all of which are in excellent condition. All of the tinted glass is also in excellent condition. This is a less than 77,000 original mile car that has never had rust or body damage. The finish on the black paint is very show worthy. The owner lowered the car and added a set of 20" Billet Specialties Legacy wheels with performance tires on the rear and 18" on the front. This created a great blend of original with a touch of Pro-touring. If you look from the rear you will see this Impala has dual exhaust. The original style wheels, tires, hubcaps and springs will be included in the sale. The red interior is the original color, Code "874" interior. The entire interior is new from the carpet to the headliner. The seats are vinyl and cloth. This Impala has the AM radio, power steering and tinted glass. As you look at this car you will also notice the Mooneyes tachometer mounted to the steering column, a real touch of the '60's. The 4-speed shifter is original and the owner added the SS shifter plate. The overall interior is show ready and beautiful. The trunk is solid and looks like it did in 1962. This trunk has the correct spare, mats and jack assembly. Under the hood you will find a detailed engine compartment that is home to the original 327cid/300hp engine.
