Lot #45.2 - You are viewing a 1972 Corvette that marks the last year of the front and rear chrome bumpers, the removable rear window as well as the egg-crate side fender grilles. The body on this Corvette has been repainted in its original Ontario Orange color, Code "987". All of the chrome, trim and glass remain in very good condition. Correct Firestone wide oval tires are mounted on the Corvette Rally wheels. This corvette does have the optional luggage rack and T-Tops to complete the exterior. The original option black leather interior, Code "404", is in new condition. This interior is equipped with power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, comfort grip steering wheel and air conditioning. Under the hood of this Corvette is the original matching numbers 350cid engine carrying a suffix of "CKX". The engine still runs excellent. The transmission is the original Turbo hydro-matic automatic unit carrying a code of "M40". This Corvette runs and drives excellent; it has had maintenance performed as needed over the last 37 years including suspension and exhaust work.
