Lot #347 - Originally a Miller bodied hearse/ambulance. The body and chassis were shortened 29". The original top skin was replaced with a '57 Chevy station wagon top skin. The top was lowered 3" at the front drip rail and 2" at the rear drip rail. The body and hood were sectioned 4 ?". '48-'50 Cadillac tail lights and fins were added and the rear one piece door was cut in two to make station wagon clam shell rear doors. A '67 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham sedan donated the front suspension, engine, transmission and rear end. Ash and mahogany exterior wood with oak and birch interior wood, leather seat upholstery and light buckskin acrylic lacquer paint. Wood finished with spar urethane. Originally titled as a hearse, the proper channels were followed through the Texas Department of Transportation to change title to station wagon. Equipped with Vintage brand heat and air conditioning, a 1967 Cadillac 429cid engine, automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes. This is a nice looking, nice driving automobile that attracts lots of attention.
