Lot #647.1 - This 1967 GTA convertible is one of the finest big block Mustangs on the market today. It was produced on October 6, 1966, six days behind scheduled completion date. This beauty was a star from the day it was produced, shipped to Academy Ford in Hollywood, CA. This was the first year for the 390cid big block features a 390 "S" Code 4V Thunderbird special V8. This brought a serious 320hp engine to the Mustang nameplate. Original options include white power convertible top, glass convertible top back light, exhaust emissions control, closed crankcase emission system, GT equipment, select shift, Cruise-o-Matic, courtesy lamp group, deluxe seatbelts, rocker molding, console, power steering, interior/exterior decor group and an AM/FM radio. Originally a unique Clearwater Aqua color, it was restored to this beautiful Candy Apple red with parchment interior luxury trim. Other added features to this GTA included styled steel wheels mounted on wide oval sport tires, a deluxe steering wheel and select air conditioning. The original Hollywood beauty, coupled with this nut and bolt rotisserie restoration make this 1967 Mustang GTA convertible a special addition to any car connoisseur's collection.
