Lot #22 - 1 of only 2,362 produced. A rare American station wagon that has been custom restored. This fine example has received a total restoration with the front and rear sub-frames removed, restored and reinstalled. It has been upgraded with front disc brakes, 5-lug wheels with American Racing wheels 17" rear and 15" front, many custom body modifications, fresh Viper Red and Silver urethane exterior and interior paint, new Red Monza bucket seat interior, completely rebuilt 1965 140hp Corsa 4-carbureted engine with new .060 forged pistons, 4-speed transmission, anti-sway bars front and rear, fully detailed underneath, and chrome vintage roof rack. This car has a NOS windshield and all new tinted side glass. Many of the exterior trim pieces such as rocker moldings, headlight doors, hood molding and taillights are NOS. Since completion, the car has scored 996/1000, First Place and a Platinum Award at the CCI Winter National in 2008, won Best Corvair at the Florida Regional Corvair Meet 2008 and received a Goodguys pick and was featured in the September 2008 issue of the "Goodguys Gazette". It has been driven over 2000 trouble-free miles since its completion including a 900 mile round trip to Atlanta from Orlando. Judging sheets and awards go with car.
