The amazing color contrast of dark blue on light blue with the red line tires and red GTO badges is a heart stopper. Originally a LeMans, this car has undergone a complete ground-up mechanical and cosmetic restoration with GTO upgraded added. This GTO re-creation can be used as a daily driver, although everything on the car down to the tires is as original. We installed an electronic ignition for the extra reliability. This car started out life as a Pontiac LeMans. In 1965, you could purchase a LeMans and have the GTO options package installed making it a GTO. We added the GTO options package in 2007 to re-create the most reliable and visually stunning Pontiac GTO re-creation on the road. The engine is a Pontiac 389cid/325hp and has dual exhaust. It has a special high rise aluminum intake with a 4-barrel carburetor, chromed aluminum air cleaner, and valve covers with electronic ignition. The engine is connected to an automatic transmission and has a posi-traction 8" rear end. It also has Koni adjustable shock absorbers.
