Lot #2 - This is a Starsky & Hutch re-creation tribute car. This beautiful re-creation is of the car on the Starsky & Hutch TV series and later in the movies. Per the builder, this car started its life as a Torino owned by the same person since 1985 before conversion. The engine is a 351cid/400hp with automatic transmission on the column. The interior is in almost new condition with a bench seat. The newer paint scheme was painstakingly done in the Tomato Red with the famous White Nike stripe to closely match the original TV series car. It even has the correct mounted grille emblem. The car will also will come with correct rear trim moldings. The car has a non-functional Motorola police radio mounted on floor board for that extra detailed touch. The engine compartment has been nicely detailed. This inside matches the outside in cleanliness and looks great when you pop the hood at your local car shows. The air conditioning works and even the AM radio works. The engine runs strong and transmission shifts smoothly. The rear bumper has been re-chromed for a nice shiny appeal. And yes, it comes with a tear drop police light.
