The body and sheet metal is original except for the front fenders and hood. The fit and finish is amazing and will leave your eyes staring. It was painted by nationally known Carl's Collision Center. The deep red paint is complimented with custom black Holden GTO emblems. All the glass is new and the stainless glass trim was refinished by perfectionist Steve Grace. It features a Butler performance 455 engine with approximately 500hp. The power is transferred through a HD Turbo 400 transmission that was built by Steve Smith. The transmission is equipped with a his-and-hers shifter. The posi-traction rear end is a HD Pontiac 10-bolt with the rare "N" cast letter stamp. The 3.55 gears make highway driving pleasurable. The power braking system consists of a Wilwood master cylinder, CPP chrome booster and Baer Claw disc brakes at all four corners for quick stopping. The Flaming River steering box and the Hotchkis sway bars provide precise handling. The car is dressed with custom-built Jason Rushforth two-piece wheels that give it the perfect stance. The massive tires are 245/35/19 in the front and 275/40/20 in the rear. Other upgrades include March serpentine pulleys, Hooker Super Comp ceramic headers, Spin Tech polished mufflers, Painless wiring kit, MSD ignition, 4-core radiator, Flex-a-Lite dual electric fans, Billet Specialties steering wheel and pedals, Stewart Warner gauges and a CD player. This GTO is truly one-of-a-kind.
