Description
Lot #459 - This award winning custom 1955 Chevy 210 two door sedan had a two year frame-off restoration completed in 1990. The car was meticulously built by an experienced car builder. The car came stock with side emblems that read "Two Ten" in the classic Bel Air script, emblems that to this day we have never found on another car. It has a rebuilt 400cid small block engine with a Turbo 350 transmission and is fitted with beautiful chrome headers, a polished stainless intake manifold and custom powdercoated 4-barrel Holley carburetor. It also has an automatic ratchet shifter, polished stainless console containing digital engine information gauges, swivel bucket seats and the famous Bel Air stainless bowtie dash inlet. The car has an exquisite color, sand and buff paint job including the frame and undercarriage. To add to the quality and style of this car, it has beautiful American Racing rims, a polished stainless exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and chrome inner fenders under the hood. It has many extras including louvered front fenders, a B&M air filter assembly, a power antenna mast and a carpeted and upholstered trunk area boasting additional speakers and the original car jack, chromed of course. This car has won a Gold Certificate for quality from Classic Chevy International and first place at a Classic Chevy International car show, not to mention numerous wins at many local car shows in Wyoming and Colorado. It was featured in the February 1992 "Classic Chevy World" magazine and has been in storage ever since.
