Lot #1215.1 - You are viewing a prime example of an original 1951 Bel Air - Style# 1307. This Bel Air is presented in Thistle Grey and Trophy Blue. The paint remains in excellent show condition as does all of the chrome, glass and trim. This Bel Air has the optional stone guards behind the front and rear wheels. It also has the chip guard buy the gas fill door. You will notice this Bel Air has the optional dual mirrors, skirts and back-up lights. Wide bias ply white wall tires with original hubcaps complete the beautiful exterior of this Chevy. The blue and grey cloth and leather interior also remains in excellent condition. How about that original steering wheel? This is one area where manufactures chose to be very creative. The trunk as you can see is very clean while the under carriage remains mostly original. Under the hood is the 216.5cid, 6 cylinder engine that runs excellent. This Bel Air is equipped with the 3-speed manual transmission which also operates without a hitch. This is a great example of a 1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Bel Air that anyone would be pleased to add to their collection.
