The chassis is a custom Hedges Speed Shop/Art Morrison design fitted with C5 suspension front and rear, Strange coilovers, Pfadt Race Engineering adjustable sway bars, C5 Z06 brakes, stainless brake lines, a stainless Rock Valley gas tank and powdercoated gloss black. The rear suspension was narrowed to accommodate 285/19 Goodyear run flats. Custom CV axles get the power to the ground. Equipped with a GM Performance Parts 427/505hp LS7 that features a GM Performance Parts Drive-By-Wire system and a Peterson dry sump oiling system. The custom Griffin aluminum radiator provides the cooling. The LS7 uses a Street and Performance Serpentine system and ceramic coated headers that funnel the exhaust out the stainless steel side exhaust pipes. It has 18" C6 Z06 wheels in the front and 19" in the rear fitted with Goodyear Run Flat tires. The original '67 Corvette body was meticulously prepared for the Jet Black base coat/clear coat paint job with a Greystone metallic stinger. The cockpit received the Dynamat sound deadener from the firewall to the rear floor along with the roof and doors to reduce the heat and noise. The dash pads, door panels, headliner and carpet were provided by Al Knoch. The interior is finished off with a pair of C6 Z06 black seats with a driver's side power seat, an original cluster fitted with Autometer gauges, Ididit tilt column, Classic Auto Air, power windows and a Custom Auto sound stereo system. This Pro-touring Corvette combines the classic lines of the mid-year Corvette with the best technology available. This is as close as you can get to a 2008 Z06 in a 1967 Corvette body.
