Description
Lot #739 - 1 of 47 exported to Canada from a total production run of 1,242. A Sand Beige and metallic brown car with a brown interior including 9' of mahogany in the back. Powered by the original HEMI 331cid engine with a 2-barrel carburetor and 6-volt charging system. Also has Simplimatic automatic transmission - just push in the clutch, select your gear, release the clutch and the tranny does the rest. This 46,756 actual mile ex-Royal Canadian Mounted Police Chief's car from Summerland, British Columbia, received a complete $140,000 restoration. Where possible, original parts were retained and restored. All other parts were replaced as accurately as possible. With just under 500 miles since the restoration, this car has just got the bugs worked out of it and is ready to go. It fires up and runs smooth and quiet. This car is a head turner where ever it goes and has won numerous awards including Best of Show at Canadian car shows. Documented by the Chrysler Historical Collection.
