Description
Lot #1238.2 - This is the real deal "J" Code, factory built, HEMI car. This is 1 of a reported 162 HEMI automatic Road Runner coupes built, and of those we don't know many came equipped ready to do battle with the A32 super performance axle package with the main feature of the 4.10 geared DANA 60. This is a very low mileage car with 13,202 actual miles on it from new. It spent its life as a quarter mile race car, which explains the low miles. The exterior color B3 blue and the interior is two tone B3 and B7 blue. It has a column shifted automatic transmission with a bench seat. Talk about grandma's car with a HEMI. All the body numbers match the VIN # on the dashboard and the original Fender Tag. This is a complete rotisserie restored car that was spared no expense. The entire car was stripped to bare metal and etch primed. Every square inch of this car has been properly prepped and painted including the inside, outside and underside. The paint and body is laser straight and absolutely stunning from every angle. The interior is perfect and there is not a single nut or bolt on this car that has not been replaced or restored. The drivetrain in this car is a correct date coded vintage HEMI block, but is not numbers matching to this car. The 727 TorqueFlite transmission is numbers matching and original to this car and the power backs up to the original DANA 60 rear end. This Road Runner packs a monster 426cid/425hp HEMI with the factory Ramcharger induction system. This car has less than 100 miles on it since the complete restoration. Under the hood is as stunning as the rest of the car and attention to detail is evident from front to back. The undercarriage is really what adds a tremendous expense to any restoration and when you make it look like the topside of the car, there is probably several hundred hours of prep and detail work just on the underside of the car alone.
