Lot #701.1 - This V8 Camaro, manufactured in Norwood, is the most desirable year, and it is a fantastic SS coupe to own, drive and show. This Camaro has gone through a comprehensive restoration. The body was stripped to bare metal where it was found to have its original floors and sheet metal with no rust issues, and then it was painted its gorgeous original Garnet Red. The body also includes its restored original SS hood, twin side mirrors on the doors, all SS emblems and Rally Sport wheels. This Camaro boasts a front and rear spoiler with rubber overrides on the rear bumper. It has a new deluxe black interior with Cherry wood-style dash, Rally Sport instrument package and new headliner. All of the trim, rubber and fuzzies have been replaced, and it features the complete trunk kit including the spare tire hold down. It features a high energy GM-type electronic ignition, new suspension with TRW bushings, and completely new power brake system. The very desirable Turbo 350 transmission has been rebuilt and is in excellent working order. All of the electrical has been serviced, and the car's factory air conditioning has been restored with new components, hoses and Freon to blow cold. It also received a new heater core so the heating and defrosting works properly. Features also include its original push button Delco radio in working condition. Every hose is new.
