Lot #673 - This is a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette Silver Anniversary Edition. A true survivor with 4,500 documented miles, equipped with the optional L82 350 cid small block producing 220hp. Chevrolet offered two different powerplants in 1978, the L48 175hp 350, and the $525.00 optional big power of the 220hp 350 L82. Chevrolet produced 46,776 Corvette coupes in 1978, only about 15,283 of them were Silver Anniversary Edition Corvettes. These Anniversary Corvettes received major aerodynamic restyling, a larger wraparound rear window, a fastback roofline, Silver Anniversary emblems on the nose and rear deck lid, new instrument panel and gauges, just to name a few. It was produced in St. Louis, has the "122" and "13U" Anniversary trim codes and original Goodyear GT radial tires.
