Description
Lot #962.2 - In the Mopar world, one would have a hard time finding anyone to dispute that the 71 'Cuda was at the peak in styling and the prettiest of all the "B" body cars ever produced. Of all the classic muscle cars none have become more collectible than the 'Cudas of the 1970-71 model years. "Motor Trend" tested the 'Cuda with all engine versions and the 340 turned out 14.5 ? mile ET's only a few tenths behind the big block 440's and even the HEMI's. The 340 was considered the most practical and driver friendly strip car that could be driven daily. In street form, it beat the SS 350 Camaros and BOSS 302 Mustangs with ease. Only 2,008 340cid automatic 'Cudas were produced in 1971, which makes this very, very rare indeed. This is one of those cars. Documented with the original Build Sheet and Fender Tags. This original numbers matching factory billboard 'Cuda is finished in original Bahama Yellow with black interior. A special ordered, high option car. Some options include power steering, power disc brakes, bucket seats, console, tachometer, gauge, driving lights, rear wing, radio, Rally wheels, etc. This is a very honest, rust-free car that has not traveled many miles over its life and still retains most of its original components, integrity and provenance which is very hard to replace. A real 1971 340 'Cuda documented with original paperwork and rare options in Bahama Yellow.
