Lot #709 - A frame-off restoration with 1964 409 truck engine, 2x4's, polished intake, Edelbrock carburetors, Muncie M22 1969 4-speed, Hurst shifter and a stock 390 rear end. Also features a Cars Inc interior in silver and black and triple-black show paint. An original big block car that is very straight and in very nice condition. The front floorboards and trunk have been replaced. All original stainless is polished and not restored. It has all new tinted glass, original rear windshield, stock suspension with rear hijackers, front disc brakes/rear drum brakes, chrome master cylinder and booster, chrome alternator, polished air conditioning unit, chrome wheel wells and fan shroud. It runs, drives and looks great. Owner is a former 18 year certified ASE professional mechanic and Cadillac interior trim specialist. He completed all restoration of this car except the paint and body work. The '59 turns 50 with the new year.
