Lot #729.1 - A Resto-Rod that has been finished in beautiful Pearl White over Turquoise resembling the original factory colors of this rare and desirable automotive gem. A complete frame-off restoration with powdercoated frame that was completed in 2002 and has been in temperature controlled environment ever since. Has won many local awards. It is sporting a Chevrolet 350cid/350hp V8 crate engine that is hooked to a 700R4 transmission and an early style Ford 8" rear end with a 3.73 gear ratio. Also features a Performer intake manifold with Edelbrock 650 cfm carb, serpentine belt system, electric fuel pump and 4-wheel power disc brakes from early model GM "A" body. The stock-appearing body with all new chrome and stainless molding, rebuilt light assemblies, new lamp sockets and tail light bezels, original lighted hood ornament, new door and window rubber and new glass all around. It has a perfect dash with new gauges and is finished with custom grey tweed interior and has new foam with cultured door and ceiling panels. It rolls on American Torque Thrust wheels (16x7 front, 16x8 rear) with BFGoodrich Comp T/A radials. It has all Billet trim and detail inside and out, including engine bay with shaved firewall and concealed wiring harness to give it that sleek custom look. The drivetrain and chassis restoration was done by Custom AutoTech of Clovis, CA. The outstanding paint and body work was crafted by Schramek's Place and plating, emblems and trim was done by Moreno's Metals both of Fresno, CA. Not a trailer queen, this Resto-Rod has been driven to all shows and events, claiming the "2006 Indy World of Wheels Hot Rod of the Year" award.
