Lot #423 - A beautiful Apache 31 Big Window with the aftermarket NAPCO conversion. A 100% frame-off restoration that is correct right down to the NOS '58 vinyl seat upholstery. It runs and drives great. The odometer is calibrated and shows actual miles since restoration. The engine block, heads, induction, radiator and driveline are all factory original to this truck. The 283cid engine was completely rebuilt to .040 over using NOS GM truck cam. It runs cool and burns regular gasoline. The transmission and axles overhauled with new bearings, gaskets and seals. The NAPCO 4x4 system is correct aftermarket set up and works great. The correct front drive axle transfer case and shifter have all been rebuilt and reinstalled to NAPCO specs using new gaskets, seals and bearings, bushings and grommets. The U-bolts and nuts were new. The front axle is equipped with period correct aftermarket locking hubs. As delivered, this truck featured 283cid V8, new for 1958 705 A Glade Green exterior, standard interior trim with full view rear window, heavy duty air cleaner, heavy duty cooling, heavy duty 4-speed transmission with parking brake, 16" wheels, tire carrier that is side mounted, rear painted bumper, right side mirror, recirculating heater, radio and antenna, 3" rear reflectors and the NAPCO 4x4 system.
