Lot #64 - This Stepside started as a very solid original California truck. It has been completely custom modified by Avery Greene Motors, Vallejo, CA, a restoration shop with attention to maintaining its classic original design. It is equipped with a new 350cid GM crate engine rated a 330hp, a Jet built 700R4 GM transmission, Currie 9" differential, power steering, 4-wheel power disc brakes, Vintage air conditioning and heat, Cadillac power tilt seat, Hidden Auto stereo, a rear-mounted Rock-Valley stainless steel fuel tank, Flaming River tilt steering column and Flowmaster exhausts, it has an RB's front sub-frame with GM A-body suspension parts that were used to lower the front end 5". It has 17" Billett Ralley wheels with BFGoodrich Scorcher T/A low profile tires. The body was taken off the frame for the rebuild. The truck was painted '05 Corvette Red Tricoat at Avery Greene Motors body shop using multi-stage urethane hand rubbed finish. This is a beautiful example of a 1950's era vehicle rebuilt to drive in style and comfort. It is a show truck, but a very fast driver too.
