Description
Lot #938.1 - This is a very rare 1959 Bel Air hardtop coupe, 1 of 1031 cars ever built. It was a Canadian built car, as they were never built for the US market. It is basically the same as an Impala hardtop, but with Bel Air trim. The car has been restored frame-off, approximately 500 miles ago and is stunning. Painted in its original colors of Gothic Gold Metallic and Satin Beige, with a correct interior of medium and light copper. It has a beautiful contrasting color combination. The restoration and detail on this rare hardtop Bel Air is second to none. Fully detailed and show ready, the drivetrain is a 1963 409cid/340hp fully rebuilt with a 4-speed transmission. Motor runs smooth and strong with no leaks or any issues. Drive this car anywhere to cruise, show or parade. You will not be disappointed. Included with this car is the documentation from GM of Canada that shows the information and production numbers. Driven 400 miles to event.
