Lot #950 - A rare 4-door convertible which recently completed a 2-year frame-off restoration. This Resto-Rod features a 350cid Chevy engine with approximately 250hp coupled to a Turbo 350 transmission and an 8" Ford rear end. It is painted in Cadillac Firemist Red and sits on the original frame with a dropped front axle, front disc brakes and a Vega steering box. The interior is finished in pleated red ultra leather along with a new canvas top. The original gauges have been modernized with new senders, refreshed and updated to 12-volts. The original steering column with lock toggle switch is topped off by a refurbished Banjo wheel. It has new wiring, bumpers, windshield, etc. This is surely one of few Resto-Mods of this type. Most importantly, it runs and drives great.
