Lot #932 - Announced 4 months after the rest of the line, Sport Fury became Plymouth's premium offering. It had such extras as bucket seats, center front console, all vinyl trim, rear foam seat cushions, deluxe steering wheel, a third tail lamp on each side for a total of six, full length beltline extensions and license plate recess trim. Sport Furys were distinguished by their signature script ahead of the front wheel opening, deck lid license plates and red, white and blue finished trim insert dimples. Also the grille was given a more strongly segmented appearance by blacking out the wider division panels. A gorgeous re-paint in correct factory Cherry Red color. Powered by a 361cid/305hp engine with 4-barrel carburetor, aluminum TorqueFlite transmission, power brakes, power steering, Solex tinted glass, day/night rear view mirror, dash clock, push-button factory radio, left outside rear view mirror, optional Kelsey Hayes chrome wire wheels and new white wall tires. A very low production car and 1 of only 1,516 total.
