A total frame-off restoration of a life long, California Black Plate truck. The engine is a 1972 Ford 351cid Cleveland with recent rebuild, RV cam, Edelbrock performer intake manifold, Holley 600 CFM carbs, Mallory unilite ignition and Flexalite aluminum fan. The transmission is a recently rebuilt C6 with shift kit and Lokar nostalgic 23" swan neck shifter. Also features a 9" Ford rear end, 3.50 ratio with new shocks and springs, power steering from Classic Performance Parts, power disc brakes from Classic Performance Parts, 11" Ford discs, GM calipers, and 8" master cylinder. The front wheels are Wheel Smith powdercoated 15x7 and the rear wheels are Wheel Smith powdercoated 15x8 46 Ford caps and rings. The front tires are BFGoodrich TA's 225-70-15 and rear tires are 1W Goodrich TA's 255-70-15. Has a new highly varnished oak bed with stainless strips and bolts, new interior with leather seats, Mercedes-style carpet, new door and window seals, new wiring and new Candy Red base clear paint applied over ultra-straight sheet metal that is all sanded and buffed to a high shine.
