Lot #1246.1 - This car underwent a rotisserie restoration in 2008 and before that it had been in storage for over 25 years, so the restoration started with a strong foundation. It is equipped with an Art Morrison chassis, 4-bar rear suspension with coilover shocks, 9" Ford posi-traction rear end with 3.50 gear independent front suspension, 2" drop spindles and 4-wheel power disc brakes by Wilwood. The powertrain is a new LS2 GM 525hp crate engine with a Magnuson Supercharger and a Street & Performance wiring harness with performance computer upgrade. The car also features a Street & Performance pulley system, Keisler T56 6-speed manual transmission, Foose wheels 20" rear and 17" front, ceramic coated exhaust with 3" Flowmaster mufflers, powdercoated chassis, custom radiator and support, power steering, power brakes, power windows, a smooth custom Billet dash, Dakota digital gauges, Hyper-Cool 1 air conditioning system, Pioneer stereo system and Raingear wipers. The car has an outstanding full custom interior with black leather bucket seats, console and a custom-built back seat. The interior was done by Ralf's Interiors of Durant, IA. The body features shaved hood, doors, trunk, remote windows and doors, California front bumper, Nomad rear bumper and a custom Hartz cloth top. No expense was spared in the completion of this 1957 Chevy with the latest, state-of-the-art drivetrain and chassis.
